Its our mission to re-define and repair.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Assistant to join the team at BroadmeadowsYou will be responsible for:General DutiesPerform basic QC tasks to ensure parts meet business quality standardsScanning, taking photos and labelling of automotive partsPackage and wrap parts for transport to warehouseLoad stillages with parts and stillage on to transfer truckAssist with stock and consumables countsUsing scanners to ensure all parts are located correctlyEnsure parts are collected from Dismantlers in a timely mannerEnsure appropriate PPE worn and work area is kept cleanAssist in washing Engines, Transmissions and other partsAssist in draining Fuel Buggies into allocated Fuel IBCsGeneral yard and forklift duties as requiredThe successful candidate will have the following:Specialist KnowledgeMUST HAVE - Forklift licenceKnowledge of mechanical car parts and panelsUnderstanding of the long-term goals and aspirations of the organisationExperience & SkillsExperience in yard maintenanceProblem solvingAble to work safely and efficiently both in a team environment and independentlyWell-developed interpersonal skillsStrong written communication skillsAble to professionally represent the organisationWe know that sometimes people need non-standard work hours and would be happy to discuss the options available in this role, or similar roles across our business.BenefitsReward & recognitionEary finish on FridaysBBQ/LunchesDiscounts on parts and toolsUniforms24/7 professional counselling for Team members and their immediate familiesWe champion our Team, because its our people that set us apart and drive our business'' success.
