Job Description Mine Site Cleaner ONLY 1 x 7/7 | Roster: 0200 - 1430, 1200 - 0030 Mine Site Cleaner / Utility 2 x 9/5 | Roster: 1200 - 0030, 0230 - 1500 Responsibilities This is a Permanent - Full Time position in the Cleaning category. As a Mine Site Cleaner / Utility, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the mine site facilities. Your main tasks will include: Performing general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal Ensuring all areas are kept sanitary and safe for all personnel Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and machinery Assisting with laundry services when required Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times Supporting other departments with basic utility tasks as needed Additional Tasks for Utility Role Setting up and clearing dining rooms Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices Providing fast, effective service during busy periods with a positive attitude Assisting the broader team as required Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods Dining Room Duties - maintaining cleanliness, stock, and crib food levels Housekeeping Duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds (if needed) Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
