Time left to apply: End Date: August 9, 2025 (26 days left to apply)Job Requisition ID: JR143572Job Description:From February 2026 until January 2027Participation in after-hours/on-call psychiatry registrar rosterPrevious experience in Mental Health requiredAbout the RoleApplications are invited for an advanced psychiatry registrar with a specific interest in psychotherapy to join the Psychotherapy Department at St Vincents Health Melbourne for a one-year specialised training placement.This is an accredited training position funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health under the Specialist Training Program. The registrars clinical work will take place both in public settings within St Vincents Mental Health Service and in the private sector, primarily at a psychotherapy-oriented clinic adjacent to St Vincents Hospital on Gertrude Street, Fitzroy.The registrar will be expected to deliver psychodynamic psychotherapy in each of the settings. Opportunities for individual, family, and group psychotherapy are anticipated.
