The Team:As a Food Services Officer working in the RHH Cafeteria, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides nutritious meals and excellent service to visitors and staff. The team collaborates to ensure the safe preparation and handling of food, with a strong focus on hygiene, efficiency, and teamwork.The Role:This position involves working in the RHH Cafeteria, responsible for general food preparation, service, and cash handling duties, providing service to staff and visitors in a healthcare setting.You will work as part of a team, maintaining food safety protocols, operating kitchen equipment, and contributing to a clean and efficient food service environment.You will need:Demonstrated knowledge and experience in food preparation, production, cook-chill procedures, and working within a large organization.Understanding of food handling and hygiene regulations, with the ability to maintain hygienic work areas and personal hygiene standards.Good communication skills, with the ability to understand instructions and cooperate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria to address in your application.Details of appointment:Permanent full-time day position, working 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon as possible.Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
