Join our team and make a meaningful difference in your community!The Glenorchy City Council is currently seeking a dedicated and capable Multi-skilled Labourer - Roads to undertake hands-on labouring, plant and truck operation duties associated with the maintenance and construction of roads, drainage, and other assets.What Were Looking ForIn this hands-on role, youll carry out a variety of maintenance and construction tasks on roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure. Youll operate trucks and small plant, implement safe traffic control, read and interpret plans, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. You''ll be a key part of a supportive team, contributing to high-quality infrastructure projects that benefit the community.To be successful in this role, youll need hands on experience in civil construction. You should be confident operating small plant and equipment, able to read and interpret plans, and committed to working safely.
