This includes:seasonal fertilizing of lawns and gardens and weed management;periodic pruning, regular trimming trees and hedges & replanting of gardens where required;removal of rubbish and recycling bins;water features and waterways including storm water pits;maintenance of lawn and gardening machinery/equipment;operate various types of power equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers etcProvide assistance to maintenance staff as required (including relief maintenance staff for periods of leave)What You BringDemonstrated experience as a groundkeeper with strong knowledge for lawns and gardens maintenanceMust have experience operating and maintaining role related equipment (e.g.-ride on mowers, whipper snipper etc)Problem solving and decision-making skills with good attention to detailAdhere to and promote a safe and healthy workplace cultureExceptional customer service and/or stakeholder engagement skillsMust have valid drivers license, a National Criminal History Check relevant for Aged Care (or willingness to obtain)About UsFresh Hope Communities exists to create spaces that cultivate belonging and places that feel like home.For almost 90 years, we have been providing quality support and lifestyle choices across retirement, residential and respite settings, as well as conference and outdoor adventure experiences for school and community groups.
