Maas Repairs is seeking a Trade Assistantto join our dedicated maintenance team. Based in our Dubbo workshop.About the role:The trade assistant will help the mechanics by completing tasks on their behalf. Your job is to perform maintenance tasks on equipment and worksites. You clean the work areas and ensure the machines are calibrated to industry standards. You also maintain health and safety standards and ensure the work site complies with the industry regulations.Duties will include:Develop an understanding of Maas Repairs WHS policies and procedures.Ensure that all required PPE is always worn whilst in the workshop and/or on site.Follow all instructions from Workshop Manager and other assigned supervisors.Carry out general workshop duties as directed and with minimal assistanceDemonstrate care of equipment and toolsWork well and communicate in the team environmentSkills and experience:Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Sound knowledge of safe working practices and procedures in a workshop environment.Good time management and interpersonal skillsExcellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skillsA growth mindset and passion for learningWhat we offer:Supportive environment, mentored by an experienced management team and working in a new modern workshopOpportunity to work on new modern technology/ equipment and on used equipmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesCompany overalls and uniform providedWell established business that promotes safety firstApply today as interviews may begin before close date. #J-18808-Ljbffr
