Boilermakers | Mechanical Fitters | RiggersEngineering Trades Australia are seeking experienced Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters, and Intermediate/Advanced Riggers for a major shutdown at the QMAG site, commencing ASAP.Whats on offer:12-hour days4+ week shutdownOngoing project opportunities for strong performersCompetitive pay rates $$$Boilermaker responsibilities:Structural repairs on mill casing, chutes, liners, and guardingFabrication and welding using mild steel, stainless steel, and wear plateGouging, grinding, and prep workAssisting Fitters with mechanical installations as requiredMechanical Fitter responsibilities:Disassembly and reassembly of mill shell and rotating componentsGearbox inspections and alignmentsBearing removal and replacementShaft and coupling checks, laser alignment, torqueing, and tensioningGeneral inspection and assessment of equipment conditionTo be considered, you must have:Australian trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Mechanical FitterMUST HAVE current Medipass or Coal Board medicalConstruction White CardWorking at Heights and Confined Space (valid within 2 years)High Risk License (WP, DG, LF) desirableAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsPrevious shutdown or heavy industrial maintenance experienceAbility to pass drug and alcohol testImmediate availability for mobilisation and inductionFull Australian working rightsAbout us:Engineering Trades Australia is a national workforce specialist supporting major shutdown, FIFO, and regional projects across Australia.
