Reporting to theSuperintendent Health, Safety, Emergency and Training, this leadership role is pivotal in driving health and safety excellence across our site.As the Lead Advisor, you will:Oversee and support a team of Safety Advisors across both underground and open-pit operationsLead the implementation of safety systems and ensure compliance with WA WHS legislationFacilitate risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, including ICAMsThis role offers a dynamic blend of office-based and operational responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Youll work closely with department managers, supervisors, and external service providers to deliver on our safety objectives and support continuous improvement.About youYou are a confident and capable safety professional with a strong foundation in mining operations and a passion for driving health and safety excellence.To be successful in this role, you will bring:Minimum 5 years experiencein a health and safety role within mining or a related industryADiploma in Work Health & Safety(WHS) essentialICAM Lead Investigator certificationand proven experience conducting investigationsUnderground mining experience ideally 3+ years in an operational safety capacityYoure a natural leader who can guide and support a team, influence stakeholders across site, and maintain high standards of compliance and safety culture.
