The contract is spread across 4 days. Full-time work can be arranged via relief work if desired. The role is available due to staff taking leave and higher duties.Duties and responsibilities:The successful candidate will:Support the Colleges Christian ethos, recognising each students potential and fostering their development,Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Humanities & Business Studies lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum (experience in Humanities preferred),Experience in teaching Christian studies will be highly regarded,Assess and report on student progress using various assessment tools,Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum resources and faculty planning,Support the Colleges standards in teaching, learning, and student well-being.Skills and experience required:A commitment to the Colleges Christian values and vision,Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills,Experience teaching Humanities and preferably Business Studies,Willingness or experience teaching Christian Studies is advantageous,Sound organisational and classroom management skills,Ability to build authentic relationships with students, parents, and colleagues,Ability to inspire and engage students in a dynamic learning environment,Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.How to apply: Please apply directly via SEEK. #J-18808-Ljbffr
