Additionally, you will be committed to achieving the goals embedded in the Future Fit Strategic Plan 2021-2030.About the roleThe Scheduling Coordinator holds a critical position in a small team responsible for organising the day-to-day operational activities associated with the production, publishing and maintenance of the University academic timetable. The role will also provide high-level system support, database management, system monitoring and the development and ongoing maintenance of systems, processes and projects.Other responsibilities will involve monitoring data integrity, system imports, reporting and resolving issues to ensure strict deadlines are met; building timetables for all teaching modes (on campus and/or online) based on course plans, staff availability and teaching space requirements; working with various stakeholders to appropriately assign resources and coordinate allocations of both staff and students, reporting and monitoring availability of teaching activities using relevant software applications. The position reports to the Scheduling Manager and operates under their general direction. On-the-job training will be provided.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have:Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to use critical thinking skills to problem solve. Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment and build positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
