Job DescriptionSalary: $100,000 - $120,000 DOEThe Assistant Service Manager will handle field technical training, estimating and providing quotations, manpower coordination and assignments, as well as assist with problem solving, issue resolution, and service work planning and completion.Accountabilities:Technician SupportAssist technicians with problem solving and issue resolutionReview of new lump sum service orders for scope and required materialsOrder equipment and materials where necessaryReview lump sum projects for completion and ensure accurate application of hours and purchase orders in Global EdgeMark lump sum projects complete and send to billing for invoicing and closureContinual analysis and improvement of all processesAssist with job layout and planningMentor techniciansCoach technicians on the process of identifying required maintenance and repairs and how to properly document items necessary to completeConduct training programs for apprenticesVisit work sitesQualifications:SkillsHighly organized, able to handle multiple projects at onceCritical thinking, self-motivatedComplex Problem SolvingSelf-motivatedAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of employeesAbility to present and maintain a positive corporate image in a goal-driven environmentThorough understanding of HVAC systems10+ years of HVAC service work, including installation, maintenance, and repairsOversee time and material service work completed dailyReview service orders for accuracy and work completionMark T&M service orders complete and send to billing for invoicing and closureReview any follow-ups generated while performing T&M work, forward to estimating where requiredPhysical RequirementsPhysical activity not limited to climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, lifting #J-18808-Ljbffr
