We are an award-winning development and construction company based on the Gold Coast with offices also in Brisbane and Ballina - We currently have a rare opportunity available for a talented Senior Bid Co-Ordinator to join our dynamic team and help create winning proposals.About the Role: As a Bid Co-Ordinator at Alder Group, you will support three divisions of our Construction arm (Build, Civil and Asset Renewal), working within a team that targets specific sectors, clientele, and project values. Our tenders focus on quality over quantity, and you will collaborate closely with senior management to deliver bids for projects up to $50 million in value.Key Responsibilities:Bid Strategy & ManagementLead the end-to-end bid process across multiple concurrent opportunities, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and compelling submissionsManage bid kick-off meetings and regular check-ins with internal stakeholders to align on win themes and key messagingWork closely with senior leadership, estimators, technical teams, and delivery personnel to coordinate input and approvalCoordination with the offshore team in the preparation and submission of tenders, with a future view to overseeing and managing this teamContent Development & Proposal CreationTake ownership of proposal content planning, writing, editing, and formatting to ensure consistent tone, branding, and alignment with client requirementsDevelop tailored responses by interpreting tender documentation and leveraging internal knowledge, past submissions, and SME inputPrepare executive summaries, project profiles, case studies, and other collateral as requiredProcess Improvement & ComplianceMaintain and refine bid templates, libraries, and tools to improve efficiency and qualityEnsure all proposals are compliant with tender requirements, including formatting, document control, and submission protocolsConduct post-submission reviews and debriefs to capture lessons learned and continuously improve processesCollaboration & CommunicationAct as a central point of contact between bid, marketing, commercial, and delivery teamsLiaise with external stakeholders (e.g. JV partners, subconsultants) where required to coordinate joint responses or obtain supporting informationCommunicate timelines and key milestones across all levels of the businessAbout You:Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrategic thinking with a commercial mindsetHigh attention to detail and qualityAbility to manage multiple deadlines and competing prioritiesExperienced in coordinating cross-functional teamsConfident leading meetings and engaging senior stakeholdersProficient in MS Office and Adobe InDesignOrganised, process-driven, and self-motivatedCollaborative and team-oriented leadership styleAbility to adapt in fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentsClient-focused with an understanding of positioning to winExposure to detailed construction tender functions is advantageousWhy Join Us: If you are looking for a role that offers excitement, stability, flexibility, and exposure to diverse projects, Alder Group is the place for you!
