About the roleFocused on Care is seeking an Operations Manager - SIL to join our team in this new role. This full-time role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our Supported Independent Living services. You will lead a team of Service Managers and House Managers who collectively manage 17 SIL homes. Additionally, you will work closely with the Director and the broader Senior Leadership team to drive operational excellence and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.What you''ll be doingOversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our Supported Independant Living HomesManage a team of 3 passionate and dedicated Service Managers providing leadership, support and guidanceSupport the onboarding of new SIL homes to ensure their delivery is in line with our internal processes and proceduresDevelop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service deliveryEnsure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, legislation and internal policiesCollaborate with the leadership team to identify and address operational challengesAnalyse data and metrics to drive continuous improvement across our servicesEnsuring supports are delivered in line with client budgets and report on individual profit and loss statements for each homeFoster a positive, client-centric culture and champion the organisation''s valuesYou will work from our modern, Toowoomba office however regular travel to our Warwick and Brisbane sites will be requiredWhat we''re looking forSubstantial experience (5+ years) in a senior operations or management role within the disability industryProven track record of driving operational excellence and improving service deliveryStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamExcellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a solutions-focused mindsetComprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements in the aged care and disability support industriesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholdersPreferred tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as health services management or business administrationWhat we offerAt Focused on Care, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
