FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.Fremantle Hospital is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.Our vision is Excellent health care, every time. You can read more about SMHS in our Strategic Plan here.Position Description: The Coordinator of Nursing provides leadership and direction in all facets of nursing service and practice in the area of Service 1 at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group (FSFHG) under operational responsibility. Contributes to decision making on whole of service issues, including the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans to ensure the provision of personalised, safe, effective and timely care for all patients/families. Overseeing the management of human, financial and material resources consistent with hospital policy and clinical practice standards and organisation vision and mission. Collaborating with the Nurse Director Service 1 and the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services on matters relating to the development and evaluation of Nursing practice and standards of care.Our Values guide our work in every action, and that includes recruitment and employment!
