Join to apply for the Packing Plant Operator role at Cockburn Cement Ltd.**The role**Cockburn Cement is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making skills to join our team at the Kwinana site in Western Australia. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position on a weekly rotating roster, alternating between morning and afternoon shifts: mornings from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm, and afternoons from 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Monday to Friday.Our Plant Operators are responsible for safely operating forklifts within a warehouse and managing state-of-the-art high-speed cement and lime packaging equipment.If you are looking to work in a friendly and supportive team where your contributions are valued, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.ResponsibilitiesMaintain safety, health, and environmental standardsConduct product sampling and testing accurately and safelyEnsure adequate stock levels of consumables and finished productsCoordinate with the Customer Service team to meet customer ordersPerform housekeeping, basic maintenance, and general labor dutiesReport incidents or hazards to the supervisorQualifications and SkillsHigh Risk Work Licence LFExperience with SAP, LDMS, and AMPLA is desirableExperience operating mobile plant and heavy equipmentAbility to operate high-speed automated equipmentProficient in safely operating forklifts for loading materialsStrong mechanical aptitudeCommitment to health and safety standardsAbout Our BusinessCockburn Cement is Western Australia''s leading manufacturer of cement, lime, and packaged cement and drymix products.
