It has grown to become one of Australias premier helicopter operators, with bases spanning Cairns, Port Douglas, Townsville, Darwin, Jabiru, Gove, and Torres Strait (Horn Island).We are known for our diverse fleet, commitment to safety, and excellent customer service, providing commercial air work, pilot training, Search & Rescue, and chartered flights, often in partnership with top tourism operators over iconic Northern Australian landscapes.Your New Role:Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate the daily operations of Nautilus Aviation and Helifish Darwin base. This involves making quick operational decisions, optimizing asset utilization, minimizing disruptions, and facilitating information flow to pilots, crew, customer service, and sales teams, along with logistical support and resource coordination.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily flight operations in accordance with policies and regulationsManage reservations and new bookingsEnsure efficient utilization of aircraft and assetsMonitor Search & Rescue operationsConduct flight planningPrepare requests for quotationsMeet and brief passengersThis role may require working weekends and public holidays occasionally.About You:Ideally, you possess:Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking skillsExceptional customer service abilitiesStrong interpersonal skills for relationship buildingEffective communication skills (spoken, written, active listening)Discretion with confidential informationProblem-solving skills with resourcefulness and practicalityAttention to detail and strong communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems (e.g., Takeflite, Air Maestro)Skills & Experience:Ability to pass a company drug & alcohol testManual drivers license (Car)Ability to obtain and hold an Aviation Security Identification CardHigh-level computer skillsPrevious operations/logistics backgroundPrevious aviation experienceKnowledge of remote Northern NT geographyApplication Process:Please upload your resume and a detailed cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.Salary Expectations:Include your expected salary in your profile for insights on compensation expectations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
