Located in Busselton and Dunsborough on the beautiful shores of Geographe Bay, Capecare takes great pride in meeting the changing needs of todays ageing community by delivering an outstanding model of care for clients and families.About the roleAs the Purchasing Officer, youll be responsible for ensuring the seamless procurement of stock items and equipment essential to the running of our facilities. Youll research, source, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, keeping our operations moving and our residents supported.This is a hands-on role requiring initiative, attention to detail, and strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders.Key responsibilitiesResearch and source suppliers for stock items and equipment.Liaise with vendors to manage the purchase and timely delivery of goods.Ensure purchase requests are approved at the appropriate management level.Communicate changes to purchasing processes effectively across the business.Receipt new deliveries and certify invoices for payment.Maintain Capecares Asset Register and Contracts Register.Coordinate warranty claims, repairs, and maintenance with suppliers and contractors.Support process improvements in procurement and purchasing.Assist the property team with general administrative tasks.Contribute to additional tasks and projects as required.About youYou are an organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Purchasing Officer, with a natural ability to build strong supplier relationships.
