The position is responsible for quality assurance and governance oversight of tasks completed to ensure compliance with legislation, mandated timeframes, agency directives, procedures and policies for the lawful detention of prisoners, appropriate prisoner security classification and placement in accordance with their delegated authority.The Assistant Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of staff and will support the Manager Sentence Management in managing staff performance, training and development, as well as analysing trends and workloads to ensure adequate resource allocation within their teams.
