With a strong commitment to safety, technical excellence, and innovation, we are expanding our engineering team and seeking a Structures Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our bases on the Sunshine Coast.The RoleAs a Structures AME, you will be responsible for performing structural repairs, modifications, and maintenance on our diverse rotary-wing fleet including Bell 214B, Bell 214ST, AS355, B206 and B47 helicopters. This role offers exposure to a wide range of challenging work, both scheduled and unscheduled, in a supportive and dynamic team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out structural inspections, repairs, and component fabrication in accordance with CASA regulations and company proceduresInterpret engineering drawings and technical manualsUse metal forming, riveting, bonding, and composite repair techniquesEnsure accurate documentation and reporting of maintenance activitiesWork collaboratively with the broader maintenance team to support operational readinessRequirementsCertificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures) or equivalent trade qualificationsDemonstrated experience in structural maintenance and repair, preferably on rotary-wing aircraftUnderstanding of CASA regulatory requirements and industry standardsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be eligible to live and work in AustraliaDesirablePrevious experience with Bell series helicoptersExperience in composite and bonded structuresFamiliarity with CASA/ FAA Part 145 maintenance environmentsWhat We OfferFull-time permanent role at our Cooroy facilityCompetitive salary based on experienceOpportunity to work on unique and varied aircraftSupportive workplace culture focused on safety, quality, and developmentPotential for career progression within a growing organisationHow To ApplyTo express your interest, please send your CV and a cover letter outlining your experience to:recruitment@mcdermottaviation.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
