Operate, Maintain and Improve We currently have an opportunity for an experienced quarry/mining fixed-plant Boilermaker / Welder to perform fixed-plant maintenance at our Glasshouse Mountains Quarry, on a permanent, full-time basis. We are looking for candidates who have either a trade qualification as a fitter / boilermaker or ample relevant experience. This role will be a day shift position with a 5am start and 5pm finish, Monday to Friday. Fridays and Saturdays are paid as overtime. In Your New Role With Us, You Will Conduct general fixed-plant maintenance Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens and chutes Communicate and plan repairs according to requirements in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor/Leading Hand Execute repairs as per scheduled timeline Monitor improvements to maintenance tasks, processes, or plant performance This Role Is a Great Fit For You If You are experienced in crusher, screening, conveyor repairs (fixed plant maintenance background) Trades qualified in fitter/boilermaker are preferred You are physically fit due to constant manual handling You can work within a small crew You are willing to listen and learn You are reliable You hold a current drivers license You hold current Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications You are committed to Zero Harm and a safe working culture What We Offer A competitive hourly rate plus allowances Ongoing career and development opportunities Our Benefits At Heidelberg Materials Australia, we understand that your well-being and professional growth are essential.
