Reporting into the Infrastructure Plant Team, the ideal candidate for this position will be highly motivated, with significant experience working with earthmoving equipment, heavy vehicles, light vehicles and fixed plant applications.They will be eager to work a Monday to Friday roster, with the opportunity to work occasional weekends and support the Team on site when required.You will carry out a number of tasks on our fleet of equipment, which consists of Earthmoving Equipment (Excavators, Graders, Loaders & Ag Tractors), Trucks (Japanese, American & European makes), Trailers (including Low Loaders, Flat Top, Custom built & LV) andSpeciality Equipment (Trenchers, Poly Welding Equipment & Support Equipment).Day to day tasks will involve:Wiring repairs to new install and fit outsIVMS installs and testingElectrical diagnosticsGeneral repairs and maintenanceTravel to worksites if and when neededDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout You:Oil and gas industry experience (preferred)Relevant Auto Electrician trade qualification (Heavy Vehicle Applications)Previous experience in automotive air-conditioning"Can Do" attitude and able to work unsupervisedAttention to detail and a high level of pride in your work quality is essentialHR licence (valuable)Qualified candidates who are eager to learn, adapt and grow are strongly encouraged to apply!Please note:MPK does not accept any unsolicited resume referrals from recruitment agencies.
