Our client, located in Edinburgh SA, is looking for a full-time Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class).About the Role:A large engineering company is seeking to employ a Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class) to manufacture, repair, and fabricate various structural steel products, pressure vessels, and pipes.About you:We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class) with a strong work ethic who take pride in their work and can work alongside an established team.To be successful in this role, you would need to possess the following:Qualified as a Boilermaker-Welder / Metal Fabricator / Pressure Welder / Welder (First class) through an apprenticeship or equivalent.AQF Certificate III, including at least one year of relevant experience, orAt least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.Responsibilities include:Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.Selecting, cleaning, and preparing metal stock.Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machines.Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, heating, and hammering.Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling, and grinding.Assembling, welding, and repairing pressure vessels and pipes.Additional requirements:Ability to work efficiently alone or within a team environment.If you meet the above criteria and are interested in contributing to an organization that values the highest level of quality, we want to hear from you!To apply, click the "Apply Now" button.
