The NDIS Program Coordinator is responsible for activity planning, implementing, and coordinating projects related to NDIS services. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet participants'' needs while adhering to NDIS quality and compliance standards. This position involves leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-quality outcomes for participants.The NDIS Program Coordinator will also deliver one-on-one training and activity sessions with clients/participants to build capacity, foster independence, and achieve individual NDIS plan goals.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a high level of understanding of the NDIS framework, funding models, and compliance requirements.Plan, design, develop and implement NDIS project plans and activities into the DSDS activity hub (group and individual).Facilitate onboarding of participants and screening referrals.Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication, including advocacy to eliminate systemic barriers to community participation and employment.Define project scopes, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders.Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure all projects comply with NDIS Quality and Safeguards standards and requirements.Liaise with external service providers and stakeholders for referral or participants to DSDS programs and services.Report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables, including identification and resolution of emerging issues.Track project performance and prepare reports, including collating project data and expenditure.Work within budgets, milestones and meet KPIs set by DSDS management.Support DSDS operations with administrative functions related to the projects.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and the DSDS Code of Conduct.Deliver individualised one-on-one/group training and activity sessions to clients/participants based on their specific goals and NDIS plans.Develop and adapt session plans to meet the diverse needs of participants, focusing on skill-building, personal development, community engagement, unique needs and aspirations.Provide high-quality support to participants who range in levels of need.Adhere to service agreement requirements of the funded package & meet deadlines.Maintain detailed case notes of sessions, participant progress, and outcomes for reporting and continuous improvement.QualificationsExperience in designing and delivering training sessions or capacity-building programs.Tertiary qualifications in Disability Studies, Community Services or related field (minimum of Certificate III)Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), disability, community services, or health sector.Possess and demonstrate significant experience working with people with disabilities, people with psychosocial disabilities and people with behaviours of concern.Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of clients and stakeholders, in an environment requiring cultural sensitivity.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in diverse teams.Demonstrated computer literacy and IT skills to effectively manage computer software, applications, and office equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
