Join us in shaping the future of healthcare in Regional Queensland.Deliver clinical services to children and young people in the care of the Department of Communities, Child Safety Services, with extreme and complex therapeutic and behavioural needs in collaboration with other agencies as part of an interdepartmental therapeutic response.To provide expert clinical and patient-centred care within Evolve Therapeutic Services by supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.What we''re looking for:Clinical Expertise - Demonstrated professional level of knowledge, expertise and skill in evidence based mental health service provision within your professional discipline.Communication - Well developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.Clinical Ability - Ability to provide clinical services of a complex nature under the direct supervision of a more senior clinician.Leadership - Ability to participate in local service improvement initiatives and provide clinical supervision to subordinate personnel.Preferred Qualifications:Mandatory possession of a nursing qualification from a registered tertiary institution or completion of an approved hospital training program and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.Psychologists: Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as a Psychologist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Occupational Therapists: Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as an Occupational Therapist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.Social Workers: Mandatory possession of a recognised degree in Social Work, and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Eligibility is dependent on the candidate having completed a University level Social Work degree accredited by the AASW and that the candidate does not have any other outstanding professional competency or ethical issues or complaints known to the AASW which may preclude membership.Overseas qualified Social Work candidates require a certification of eligibility letter from the AASW to confirm their eligibility for membership. Overseas qualified applicants should include such evidence with their application to be considered for short-listing in the selection process.Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act (2000) requires Queensland Health to seek a working with children check from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. Your appointment to the position is subject to the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian issuing you with a favourable suitability notice.
