Come join our Production team, producing quality stock at our expansive nurseries!Job DescriptionKey responsibilitiesReporting to the Production Manager, the role involves general nursery duties including potting, weeding, watering, plant maintenance, order collation, loading transport, and general nursery duties.The position is full time, working a five-day Monday to Friday roster, based at the Monbulk advanced tree facility with occasional travel to the principal operations located at Wantirna.Desired Skills and ExperienceEssential attributesTo be successful as a Plantmark Advanced Tree Nursery Hand, you will have:Experience working in plant growing facilities / nursery productionPlant/Tree knowledge or eagerness to learn ornamental and native varietiesReliable with a sense of responsibility and able to make mature, sound decisionsConfident working autonomously, as well as within a small, specialised teamLicensed forklift operator preferredAgChem certificate an advantageApplicants must also be physically fit and capable of performing regular manual handling tasks that include lifting and bending. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
