Leisure & lifestyle CoordinatorPart-Time 60 hours per fortnight | Snug Village, TasmaniaAre you a hospitality or events professional with a passion for people, connection, and meaningful experiences?Would you like to bring joy to the lives of people who are aging while building a long-term career in a growing industry?Christian Homes Tasmania is looking for enthusiastic individuals with a background in hospitality, customer service or events to join us in a fulfilling new career as a Leisure & lifestyle Coordinator at our Snug Village aged care facility.No prior qualifications in aged care are required just your passion, creativity, and commitment. If you''re successful, well support you to gain your Certificate III in Individual Support while you work.About the role:As a Lifestyle & Events Coordinator, you''ll be the heart behind our resident engagement programs planning and delivering group activities, social events, themed days, and one-on-one moments that enrich daily life. Youll use your hospitality or events background to create a warm, welcoming environment where every resident feels connected, valued, and able to live a life they choose.What you will be doing:Designing and delivering engaging group activities and individual experiences that reflect residents'' interests and preferencesCoordinating community events, entertainment, themed lunches, and celebration daysBuilding genuine relationships with residents and their familiesWorking closely with care teams to support residents emotional and social wellbeingEncouraging resident choice and independence in every interactionSupporting a person-centered approach aligned with CHTs valuesMaintaining documentation and contributing to continuous improvement of every residentAbout us:Christian Homes Tasmania Ltd.
