B. Heritage Consulting are seeking applications from qualified Heritage Advisors/ Archaeologists wishing to further apply their Project Management craft. We are seeking someone who is keen to further utilise their skills and satisfy their need for adventure whilst working on some exciting and highly consultative projects throughout Victoria.The team:A. B. Heritage Consulting comprises a highly qualified, experienced, and passionate team of expert consultants including Heritage Advisors, Archaeologists and GIS specialists. We pride ourselves in our commitment to engaging meaningfully to form genuine partnerships with Traditional Owners and sponsors.Your role:You will have demonstrated experience in supporting cultural heritage projects, in varying areas from inception to completion. The tasks that you will be responsible for will include:Capability to manage and deliver projects and milestones with proactive and professional stakeholder communication and awarenessForming strong and effective working relationships with Traditional Owners and SponsorsProviding our clients with expert heritage advice and information in line with legislationResearch and reporting, including the preparation of Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMP), Cultural Heritage Permits (CHP), Survey reports, Salvage reports, Due diligence assessments, and Preliminary Aboriginal Heritage Tests (PAHT) a huge bonusOccasionally supervising archaeological field surveysOccasionally supervising archaeological excavations, including salvage excavationsStrong desire to take your career to the next level and develop within a growing, successful teamKey Selection Criteria:Must haves4+ years experience in delivering projects from inception to completionAbility to consult and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholdersHeritage Advisor accreditationDegree in Archaeology, to at least Honours levelDemonstrated experience in managing and meeting deliverables across multiple large-scale projects simultaneouslyPrior experience writing and contributing to a wide range of heritage reportsExtensive understanding of how to summarise and apply cultural heritage legislation such as the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 and Heritage Act 2017 and local Government policy in the context of planning and development impactsAbility to present technical findings and relaying information to a non-technical audience, including clients and communityAbility to work well in a teamEstablished strong and effective working relationships with Traditional Owners in the regions in which you have already workedExperience using GIS for analysis and mapping a bonusSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionResearch, Analyst, and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
