Lyons leads in Heavy machinery Air conditioning and pressuriser installations, working on mining equipment such as dump trucks and excavators, as well as Prime movers. Designing, building, and installing custom systems. We can train the right candidate to install these systems.We are hiring 3 Light Vehicle Mechanics and 2 Aircon Technicians interested in transitioning into heavy industry and breaking into the mining sector. No AC license? We will train and upskill suitable candidates.This is not a full-time FIFO role. It is a Perth-based site role with occasional FIFO opportunities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTest, install, and repair air-conditioning, pressurisers, filters, and other systems on small & light vehicles.Build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and handle administrative tasks like data entry and scheduling.Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade vehicle electrical systems.Diagnose, test, and replace faulty ignition, wiring, alternators, generators, regulators, fuses, starter motors, etc.Work towards achieving KPIs and targets.Maintain WHS standards, including at external sites.Report hazards, misconduct, or unsafe practices to management.Use technical resources to keep knowledge current.Uphold company ethics, integrity, and behavior standards.Note: Candidates must have Permanent Australian working rights and reside within 20-30 km of Kewdale.Lyons Group offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid in two parts: $500 after 3 months of continuous employment, and $1,000 upon successful probation completion.
