The Team:The Devonport Community and Health Services Centre (DC&HSC) is a main hub of community and allied health services on the North West Coast of Tasmania, providing a varied range of services to the local community. The small team of Domestic Service Officers work together to meet infection prevention and control requirements and maintain general cleanliness of the multi-storey building on a daily basis.The Role:We are seeking a motivated Domestic Service Officer to provide an efficient, safe commercial cleaning service including infection control cleaning at the Devonport Community and Health Services Centre (DC&HSC).Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in clinical and ancillary areas in accordance with established policies, standards and guidelines.Operate effectively as part of a team whilst working autonomously and being responsible for set areas within the building.Ability to prioritise your workload, along with good communication skills.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Why Tasmania:The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services.
