Our Construction division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.We are currently seeking a Dogger/Rigger with experience working in a construction environment, to join our team in Mount Gambier, SA. The successful candidate will hold a Construction White Card (General Construction Induction Card), and a Dogging and Rigging HRW licence with a minimum of 2 years practical experience.It will give you a very strong advantage if you hold a current Slewing Mobile Crane (CO) HRW licence and/or, a Fitter (or similar) trade qualification.Key ResponsibilitiesSelection, inspection, and preparation of appropriate rigging equipmentInspection and preparation of loadsManoeuvre loads using heavy equipment and manuallyRigging equipment maintenanceInterpret plans and set outSteel erectionSmall site fabrication tasksCrane operation (if appropriately licenced)Communicating with the Rigging and Construction teamExcellent attention to detail, quality and safetyThis is a full-time permanent position within our team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
