This is a role for an Occupational Therapist Assistant at Emerald Place, a 12-bed general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18 who require inpatient care for the assessment and/or treatment of a range of Mental Health difficulties. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will contribute to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities to support the recovery of the young people.Main duties of the jobAs an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support the assessment and treatment of young people admitted to the General Adolescent Unit. You will contribute to the creation of therapeutic activity timetables, work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, provide clinical entries and outcome of activities, and ensure necessary risk assessments are completed.
