Job DescriptionYour RoleThe Maintenance Services department requires an experienced Mechanical Technician (Fitter). This role is a 12-hour night shift (18:00 - 06:00).You will conduct preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on automated machines at CSL Behring, Broadmeadows.We offer:An attractive remuneration packageAllowances and overtimeOn-the-job development and trainingAccess to an Employee Share Plan to buy CSL shares at a discounted rateOnsite facilities (parking and cafeteria)Your ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Maintenance Engineer, you will have experience in preventative maintenance, inspections, corrective and breakdown maintenance on filling and packaging machines. Responsibilities include:Overhauling and maintaining automated filling and packaging machines, supporting changeoversTIG stainless steel welding, Lathe, and Milling machine workWorking with Microsoft Office and CMMS softwareAdhering to GMP principles and aseptic techniquesSupporting manufacturing on a shift roster with flexibility for outside normal hours and major maintenance shutdownsYour ExperienceQualification: Certificate 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Indentured Certificate as a Fitter & TurnerExperience with automated filling and packaging equipment, fault diagnosis, and corrective actionsExperience in a GMP-regulated environment (pharmaceutical or food manufacturing) is advantageousUnderstanding of aseptic techniques and work traceability standards is desirableMotivated, proactive problem-solver with strong safety commitmentOur BenefitsPrioritize your well-being.
