If youre a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, youre the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.Your roleIn This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeLine maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft - i.e. dismantling, inspecting, testing, and repairing various aircraft systems, including airframe and engine;Assembling parts and sub-assemblies of aircraft structure;Conducting routine servicing of aircraft, including component replacements and fluid servicing;Conducting routine pre-flight inspections of engines and propellors, aircraft mechanical systems and structure;Ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, IAW CASA regulations.Replacement of mechanical components, including hydraulic actuators, engines and components, landing gear and flight controls;Executing post-repair functional testsEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with technical documentation.The essential requirementsmechanical experience on SAAB 340 (or similar type);Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) and CASA Part 66 LicenceHighly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;Strong team player;Ability to follow supervisory direction;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Consistent positive and proactive attitude;Passion for safe work practices;Valid work visa;Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,Current Australian Driver''s licence.The duration will be six to eight weeks, with a possible extension through the end of the year.
