You will be based at our Wingfield, Adelaide SA and will be responsible for preparing mining samples for testing using specialised equipment. You will be fully trained in the Sample Preparation process of predominantly ore samples.Some of your tasks will be:Sample processing and handling - Sorting, weighing, crushing and milling of samplesMachine operating Crushing, Pulverisers and Robotic Mill CellsWhat will you bring to the role?Reliable and ability to work a shift rosterPhysically fit, prepared to carry out manual tasks and able to lift up to 15 kilo sample bags of Rocks, Sand or CoreHave the ability to follow set procedures and good attention to detailBe willing to work as part of a team with a high focus on quality & safetyExperience working in a production, processing or warehouse environment would be beneficialShift work roster:Monday to Friday8 hour rotating shift rosterDay shift (7.00am 3.00pm)Afternoon shift (3.00pm 11.00pm)Night shift (11.00pm 7.00am)Full availability across all shifts is requiredOptional weekend overtime may be available if there is an increase in workloadPlease note that as part of the recruitment experience you must be able to pass a comprehension, numerical and literacy test as well as a full Medical, Drug and Alcohol test.At Bureau Veritas your career is about more than building a resumeits a chance to leave your mark.
