Its an opportunity to support the highly motivated pharmacy team and provide high quality Pharmacy Services to the patients of West Gippsland Hospital.In this role, youll be at the heart of a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment, working closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure the service meets operational, safety, and quality standards. Youll oversee dispensary operations, support staff development, and contribute to performance monitoring.Whether you''re looking to broaden your operational expertise or develop your leadership skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career, make a meaningful impact, and be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.Key Responsibilities:Timely and accurate dispensing of prescriptions for day hospital patients, outpatients, inpatients, and patients for dischargeReview medication orders, new and repeat for accuracy and clinical appropriatenessPromote medication safetyLead and coordinate pharmacy operations to meet service level targetsSupport and motivate the pharmacy team to deliver optimal patient care and customer serviceManage pharmacy inventory and workload prioritisationEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and accreditation standardsWho are we looking for?Youre a proactive and organised pharmacist, ideally with previous hospital pharmacy. You thrive in dynamic environments, communicate effectively with diverse teams, and are committed to delivering exceptional service.
