If you have a keen eye for detail, a love for hospitality, and the ability to lead and inspire a team, we want to hear from you!If you find joy in service and have the skills to manage food and beverage operations effectively, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage service departmentManage and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standardsManage all event enquiries from initial contact through to execution and follow-up and maintain accurate event bookings, function sheets, run sheets, and invoicingCreate, promote, and sell tailored event packages (corporate, weddings, private functions)Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effective purchasingEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standardsWork closely with the kitchen team to create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and trendsHandle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently, ensuring guest satisfactionKey Skills & Attributes:Strong leadership, networking, and people management skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsProven event coordination and hospitality management experienceHigh attention to detail and organisational abilityStrong understanding of food and beverage operations and financialsA mature and professional personal presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsFamiliarity with Property Management System RMS, POS systems (e.g., RMSPOS), and Microsoft Office SuiteQualifications & Experience:Minimum 3+ years experience in a hospitality supervisory or managerial roleDemonstrated experience coordinating functions and eventsStrong RSA and compliance knowledgeResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) RequiredCurrent RMLV or willing to obtain RequiredFood Safety Supervisor certification DesirableFirst Aid Certificate DesirableQLD Drivers license RequiredThe successful candidate will need to live and work in Bundaberg for this role.
