Griffith City Council is proactive and energetic and passionate about creating ongoing opportunities for our growing population.Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.TRADES ASSISTANT WATER & WASTEWATER (Permanent)The purpose of the Trades Assistant Water and Wastewater is to construct, operate and maintain Councils water and Wastewater supply system to relevant standards in a safe, economical and proficient manner using the equipment and materials supplied.Qualifications: The successful applicant will require an Australian Driver license and a White Card/General Construction Induction training card. Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application.Skills required: The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to complete laboring duties, operate small plant and equipment and be able to use mobile devices.Hours of work: 38 hours per week.Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $60,276.32 to $66,307.28 (Grade 5).
