Join to apply for the Team Coordinator role at Western Power1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Team Coordinator role at Western PowerThis is an exciting opportunity for aTeam Coordinator in our Customer Connection Services Area.You will be required to plan and take a lead role in coordinating onsite work activities enabling teams to construct and maintain the distribution electricity network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner to ensure an uninterrupted supply to customers. In this role, you will also be required to:This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.Your Role in ActionBe responsible for safety in the work environment and ensure safe work practises are followed and a safe work environment maintained.Be responsible for ensuring that the teams are meeting the required performance each day, in the completion of work. Work cooperatively within the teams and across Western Power. Maintain open communication with team members and stakeholdersReceive, evaluate, and prepare work parcels for implementation. Schedule internal/external resources required to perform workEnsure prompt attendance to faults and isolate the network for repairs to maintain the integrity of the network and minimise customer impactDemonstrate as a role model, personal behaviours in line with business values, codes, standards, and expectationsWhat Makes You a Great FitCertificate III in ESI Power Systems Distribution - EssentialAbility to complete maintenance on overhead and underground network - DesirableHV and LV Switching authorisation or willing to obtain within first 18-monthsRelevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment)Valid WA C Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements)Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of distribution electricity networkBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
