Were doing it with our customers and communities as Australias energy infrastructure partner, a role our unique experience and expertise positions us to play.We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Pipeline Integrity Lead to join us in our Engineering and Technical Solutions team in Brisbane, QLD, Melbourne, VIC or Perth, WA on a Permanent Full Time Contract.Reporting to the Head of Pressure Integrity, you will lead the technical and strategic direction of APAs Pipeline Integrity Management Program, drive value creation while ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of our assets.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the Pipeline Integrity team, fostering both technical capability and personal development across the group.Oversee long-term integrity strategies and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and asset performance goals.Act as a Technical Authority, owning and maintaining technical standards and ensuring that the AS2885 Pipeline Management System remains in compliant.Provide expert advice to gas operations business units, including engineering approvals and deviations from technical standards, ensuring alignment with compliance obligations and risk appetite.Collaborate seamlessly with internal partners across Engineering, Operations & Maintenance, Project Delivery, and Compliance to support long-term planning and maximise asset value.Thoughtfully navigate complex decisions, balancing risk, compliance, and technical excellence while driving cost efficiency.Your BackgroundProven leadership experience in pipeline integrity or asset engineering within the gas or broader energy sector.Extensive experience in developing and implementing long-term integrity strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.Strong knowledge of pipeline integrity management principles and regulatory frameworkRecognised as a subject matter expert and trusted technical authority, with a focus on operational safety, compliance and performance.Working at APAAt APA were committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
