You will be responsible for managing the inventory functions by operating our stock control computer system, whilst providing great customer service to our customer, the Australian Defence Force (ADF).This role is exciting, challenging and rewarding; no two days will be the same! As the first point of contact for our customer, the ADF, you will need a positive attitude, be an active listener with excellent attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet. In turn, we will provide you with the training and support needed to succeed.Located at our Myambat site, on Wanaruah and Kamilaroi land, your role will be:Ensuring accurate operation of the electronic and manual inventory stock management systemInstruct and train staff as required and to ensure quality standards are maintainedPlanning and controlling work activities, including resource allocation and time managementMaintain all Technical Publications relevant to the operation of the Inventory OfficeBuilding & maintaining relationships with both internal and external clientsDemonstrating a personal commitment to all matters relating to health and safetyYour ExperienceRelevant experience in a similar environmentExcellent communication skills at all levelsKnowledge of inventory management systems would be desirableExperience within the Defence and/or Logistics environment would be highly advantageousWE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLYAfter you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
