This role also plays a key part in supporting the broader team by identifying and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring defects, contributing to continuous improvement and product reliability.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeCoordinate daily task allocation and workflow priorities in collaboration with the Production Manager.Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues across a variety of electronic equipment using appropriate diagnostic and testing tools.Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring full operational functionality and compliance with quality standards.Investigate and analyse faults in electronic products, including PCBs, to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.Conduct mechanical and electronic repairs, following proper procedures and using the correct tools to restore equipment to optimal condition.Refurbish and upgrade electronic devices, including disassembly, software/firmware installation, and functionality testing.Proactively identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment to enhance efficiency and quality.Coach, mentor, and develop the production team, enhancing technical capabilities and identifying growth opportunities for team membersExperience in soldering microelectronics including miniature BGAs, 0201 components, with precision and attention to detailAbout YouThis newly created role is ideal for an experienced Electronics Technician looking to expand their skill set within a dynamic and growing environment.
