Youll work alongside motivated and energetic teammates and will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Rolling Stock and its associated equipment under the Scope of the Rolling Stock team at the Lilyfield Sydney Light Rail depot. This role will be on a rotating roster, including morning shifts (6 am-2 pm), afternoon shifts (2 pm-10 pm), and night shifts (10 pm-6 am) across weekdays and weekends. Well look to you for: Carrying out routine examinations, fault finding, interrogation, and diagnostic testing on tram equipment installed on Sydney Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) sub-systems. Actively maintaining and repairing tram equipment installed on LRVs. Following all established safety procedures and utilizing safety equipment as required. Reporting on activities, problems found, and measures taken. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and understanding and implementing quality control measures. Instead, weve listed some that will help you succeed and grow in this role: Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) required. Fault finding ability with demonstrated experience in a similar role. Experience in maintenance activities in a similar environment; railway industry experience is an advantage but not essential. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
