Youll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions, while supporting the finance team with reporting and insights that help drive smart decisions. If youre a team player who brings efficiency, accuracy, and great energy to the table wed love to hear from you!As an Accounts Payable Officer, you''ll play a key part in keeping our finances accurate, compliant, and running efficiently. Here''s what youll be doing:Process & Reconcile: Accurately process invoices, staff expenses, and credit card reconciliations, ensuring timely payment runs and clean records.Resolve & Communicate: Collaborate with Procurement to resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain vendor relationships.Maintain Systems: Manage TechOne workflows, prepayment schedules, supplier setups, and vendor credit applications.Support the Team: Back up the Finance Officer during leave, assist with bank/vendor reconciliations, and manage department mail and the AP inbox.Ensure Compliance: Uphold high standards of safety, security, and OH&S in line with company policies and industry regulations.Work Smart: Thrive in a busy environment, multitask effectively, and support ad hoc finance tasks as needed.Who are we looking for?A motivated and detail-focused Accounts Payable Officer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Youll bring a solid foundation in accounting, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for delivering accurate, timely financial results. If you''re someone who values teamwork, takes initiative, and embraces continuous improvement, we want you on our team!Accounts Payable Expertise: ideally 3+ years experience in a similar role, with a strong grasp of end-to-end AP, reconciliations, payments, and vendor management.Technical Know-How: Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experienced with ERP systems (TechOne experience a bonus).Problem Solver: Strong initiative with the ability to resolve issues independently while identifying and driving process improvements.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in coding, processing, and reconciling transactionsgetting it right the first time matters.Strong Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work well across teams.Commercially Aware: Sound business judgement, a keen eye for efficiencies, and alignment with Alliances core values: Performance, Purpose, People & Service.Does this sound like you?If the sound of this role excites you and you have the skills, we''re looking for we''d love to hear from you.
