At Ashmore Palms Holiday Village, we are a family-owned and operated, multi award-winning holiday village. The Village has been operating for 38 years, and we pride ourselves on our long-term loyal staff members, quality accommodation, excellent facilities, and beautiful exotic birds.A position for an Operations Co-ordinator has recently become available within our family-operated business.We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Operations Co-ordinator who thrives in a dynamic environment. This is a hands-on role involving the day-to-day operations of the Village, including guest reception, maintenance, and housekeeping. You will play a visible role in supporting and uplifting the teams, ensuring smooth operations.What We''re Looking ForExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomesExperience in staff recruitment and trainingSolid understanding of WH&S and HR responsibilities2 to 3 years'' experience in an Operations role, preferably in the tourism industryHigh level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and property management systems like NewBook (or similar reservation systems)Outstanding attention to detail, time management, and the ability to remain composed under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including emergency response planningPositive attitude, resilience, and professional presentationPassion for guest service and genuine care for team developmentCurrent Australian Driver''s Licence and unrestricted work rights in AustraliaCertificate IV in Business Operations or equivalent qualification/experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a National Police CheckAvailability to work occasional weekends and public holidays on a rotating rosterCurrent First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeManaging regulatory compliance to ensure legal and ethical operations in line with relevant lawsRecruiting and interviewing new staffStaff rostering and payroll supportPreparing employment contracts and onboarding documentationMaintaining induction paperwork, training materials, and internal policies, and conducting staff inductionsAssisting with HR functions such as investigations, disciplinary procedures, and terminationsLiaising with external HR advisors for legal adviceCompleting incident reports and liaising with WorkCover as neededCoaching and supporting supervisors to enhance team engagement and workplace cultureSupporting implementation of business strategies, operational plans, and projectsArranging procurement of supplies and resolving IT and equipment issuesMaintaining an asset register for equipmentCollaborating with Maintenance Supervisor and other departments to engage contractorsJob InsightsSalary details, number of applicants, and skills match information are available upon request.Your application will include questions about your right to work in Australia, your experience as an operations coordinator, driver''s license, WHS understanding, police check, and rostering experience.Please include any relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory.What can I earn as an Operations Coordinator? #J-18808-Ljbffr
