This includes evaluating enrolment and completion data, generating reports for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Coordinator, and helping secure appropriate industry placements for students. You will also administer the relevant data associated with placements, manage student logbooks and skills journals, liaise with students and parents/guardians, and record attendance.The role involves conducting site checks, meeting with prospective employers, fostering networks to enhance outcomes for students, and supporting the selection, training, and induction of students, workplace supervisors, and assessors. The officer also reviews and authorises employer compliance checklists, monitors student progress, checks logbooks/ skills journals for satisfactory completion and maintains program databases and employment spreadsheets under the VET Coordinators direction.Applicants should demonstrate adaptability, a willingness to embrace challenges, and a commitment to acquiring new skills. Strong organisational competency and the capacity to meet deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced work environment are essential. The successful candidate will be able to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.The suitable applicants will possess strong communication skills to work both collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
