This role will work closely with the National Investigations Manager and the Fraud Analysts to reduce QBEs fraud exposure across claims.Your new roleA day in the role may look a bit like this:Analysing suspected fraudulent and non-genuine general insurance (GI) and people risk claimsManage a high volume of investigation referrals compliant to ICA Code of Conduct, best practice guides, customer service protocols, and Privacy requirementsManage and perform investigations including interviews into suspected non genuine or fraudulent claims, non-disclosure/misrepresentation and policy breaches focusing on best practice, and collection of evidence to derive claim outcomesInstruct and manage external investigative service providers to ensure effective cost and efficient services are providedProvide strategic investigative advice to claimsInterpret data and detect instances of fraud and factual anomalies in a timely mannerImplementing the appropriate action to combat fraud/high risk exposureContribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve fraud analysis and proceduresAbility to adapt to legislative and industry changesExcellent planning and time management skills with the ability to meet competing prioritiesAbout YouExtensive claims management experience in the general insurance areaLaw enforcement or Insurance Investigation experience highly regardedStrong analytical focus and attention to detailStrong time management and ability to manage high work volumes and case loadsAbility to strategize investigations and evidence collection to enable claim decisions and outcomesAbout QBEWe can never really predict whats around the corner, but at QBE were asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.Were an international insurer thats building momentum towards realising our vision of becoming the most consistent and innovative risk partner.And our people will be at the centre of our success.
