The History Trust of South Australia is looking for an organised and detail-oriented People & Culture Coordinator to provide HR and WHS support across the teams.If you''re someone who takes pride in your work and is eager to join a team that values every member, this opportunity is for you.The OpportunityThe People & Culture Coordinator is accountable to the Manager, People & Culture, and is responsible for assisting with the delivery of Human Resource and WHS services at the History Trust of South Australia.Key Components Of The RoleEffectively deliver a range of human resource processes, including recruitment and selection, induction, staff development, and training records management.Assist with the preparation of HR Paperwork and Correspondence.Assist with the effective management of WHS Management Systems, including monitoring and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions arising from hazard management programs (including site hazard registers, worksite inspections, incident reporting, internal audits, and risk assessments).Assist with the coordination, monitoring and reporting of WHS incidents, including, in collaboration with risk owners and managers, incident investigation, and monitoring corrective and preventative actions.Assist with conducting of risk assessments including the identification and implementation of preventative action.Assist with continuous improvement in business support processes and service delivery mechanisms.Undertaking the functions of the Business Support Officer in times of absence and peak workloads.Timesheet reconciliationContribute to the review and maintenance of internal processes, policies and procedures relating to WHS & HR.Under general direction, assisting with internal audit of WHS and HR systems.Contribute to the quality and credibility of the WHS & HR functions by providing service of the highest standard.Assist with special projects, as required.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will:Be a dynamic collaborator and proactive problem-solver who thrives in team settings while confidently managing tasks independently.Have sound interpersonal and communication skills; confident and professional approach to dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, enabling you to prioritise various workloads.Desirable QualificationsCertificate in related area (HR, WHS, business administration, etc).Special ConditionsSome out of hours and occasional weekend work may be required.
