Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a leader in Cloud Computing, is seeking diverse talent to join our team.AWS is looking for an experienced and self-starter Inside Sales professional to drive adoption of AWS services for aerospace and satellite solutions globally. Industry segments include launch services, human spaceflight, robotic/autonomous systems, mission control center operations, space stations, satellite constellations, ground segment (ground stations, earth stations, teleports), emergency response services, IoT solutions (smart/digital cities), earth observation, broadcast communications, and various government capabilities.RoleAs a Lead Development Representative (LDR), you will play an important role within the sales organization, qualifying and generating leads, prospecting for new customers, and developing and executing sales campaigns. Working in collaboration with your global peers, marketing, account managers and partners, the successful candidate will:Understand customer pain points, gather technical requirements and correlate business value to customer needsGenerate interest and provide vision of the portfolio of AWS solutions to potential customers using written reports/documents and verbal presentationsCollaborate with stakeholders and customers in-person out of our Sydney office and virtually via telephone and teleconferences. This position has an in-office requirement of 5 days per weekUnderstand existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing and update their knowledge about new services by demonstrating that they can learn and be curiousAchieve monthly qualification goals and share them verbally and in written formatUpdate and maintain customer information within Salesforce.com to include detailed call notes that illustrate a firm understanding of the opportunity with clearly-defined next stepsPresent a high level, technical solution to diverse audiences which include AWS colleagues, prospects and customers relevant to target industry or marketConduct research to stay informed, learn about existing markets and grow knowledge about new onesThis role will sit in our Sydney, Australia office and call Aerospace and Satellite organizations across ANZ, ASEAN, and EMEA.By working together on behalf of our customers, we are building the future one innovative product, service, and idea at a time.
