Reporting to the CFO you will be expected to manage all aspects of Finance and Administration and provide accurate timely reports to internal and external Stakeholders.We have recently expanded our company across two states with multiple locations and are looking for someone to temporarily join our team on a six month contract, while a valued team member goes on parental leave. Ours is a fast-paced, exciting industry, and were seeking someone who can grow with us. We offer a competitive salary package and hybrid working from home arrangements for the right candidate.Exceptional financial, excel and accounting systems knowledge is vital together with experience in managing a large asset register. High attention to detail, strong leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously are essential and experience with MYOB/EXO software will be highly regarded.What do we need from you?Fleet accounting and analysis including off-fleeting a large volume of vehiclesMonthly reconciliation of general ledger accountsManagement and reconciliation of the fixed asset registerManagement of vehicle payouts and reconciliation of financier statementsProduction of accurate and timely P&L reports for vehicle salesProduction of accurate, timely P&L and Balance Sheet reports together with analysis and observations on monthly resultsBack up for Bank Reconciliations including a large volume of eftpos transaction receiptsAccounts receivable monitoring acting as a backup for collections and auto matching reconciliationProviding support, training and assistance to all accounts team employeesContinuous improvement of processes to maximise operational efficienciesLiaise with external auditors and tax accountants to produce annual audit and tax return reportsProvide assistance to the CFO when necessaryOther ad-hoc duties as requiredQualifications and Experience:Degree qualified with sound knowledge of accounting skills and standardsMembership of CPA Australia (or working towards)At least five years post qualification experience in a similar rolePrior experience in managing a high-volume asset registerAdvanced numerical and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skills including advanced skills in Microsoft ExcelExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage and mentor a teamExperience in a SME businessWhats in it for me?We want you to love what you do and where you do it.
